1. Who's responsible
loudroom is run by me, Andri Weder — self-employed audio mastering engineer.
Schwerzistrasse 4, 8606 Nänikon, Switzerland

For any privacy question, data-access request, or deletion request, email me. Full operator details on the Impressum.
2. What data I collect
Three moments, three different reasons:
When you subscribe
- Your name and email (typed into Stripe Checkout)
- Your artist or project name (a custom field on Stripe Checkout — I use this to label your upload folder)
- Payment details — these stay entirely with Stripe. I never see or store your card number.
- Country and (for some payment methods) postal code, which Stripe needs for fraud prevention and tax handling
When you send tracks
- The audio files you upload (WAV, AIFF, etc.) via the kDrive upload link in your welcome email
- The filenames you give them
When you use the contact form
- Your name, email, and message text
When you visit loudroom.ch
- Anonymous page-view counts and performance metrics, via Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights
- No cookies are set. No advertising profile is built about you.
3. Why I collect it
- To run your subscription — name, email, payment, artist name. Standard contract stuff: I can't bill you or send your masters back without it.
- To master your tracks — the audio files you upload. That's the job.
- To answer your questions — contact form submissions go to my inbox so I can reply.
- To keep the website running — anonymous analytics tell me whether the site is fast and which pages people use. No cookies, so no consent banner.
- To meet legal obligations — Swiss tax law requires me to keep invoices and payment records for 10 years.
4. Third-party services
Running a small online service needs a few external providers. Each one only sees the data needed for its specific job:
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland) — payment processing, subscription billing, customer portal. Sees: name, email, payment details, artist name. policy
- Resend, Inc. (USA, EU region) — sends your welcome email. Sees: email, name. policy
- ImprovMX (France) — forwards
andri@loudroom.chinto my regular inbox. Sees: email contents in transit. policy - Infomaniak SA (Switzerland) — kDrive cloud storage for your uploads. Sees: your audio files, filenames. Stored on Swiss data centres. policy
- Samply.app (Germany) — hosts the listening links I send you with each finished master. Sees: email, mastered audio. policy
- Web3Forms (Indo Innovations Pvt. Ltd., India) — relays contact-form submissions to my inbox. Sees: what you typed in the form. policy
- Vercel Inc. (USA, edge-CDN worldwide) — hosts the website and the function that sends your welcome email. policy
I don't sell your data. I don't share it with anyone for advertising, profiling, or analytics beyond the providers above.
International transfers. Switzerland and EU providers sit under FADP/GDPR adequacy. USA (Resend, Vercel) — Standard Contractual Clauses. India (Web3Forms) — no adequacy decision; only what you type in the contact form goes there. Email andri@loudroom.ch for the relevant SCC excerpts.
5. How long I keep it
- Subscription records (name, email, billing) — for the duration of your subscription, plus 10 years after cancellation as required by Swiss tax law.
- Uploaded audio files — kept in your private kDrive folder while you're a subscriber. After cancellation, typically deleted within 30 days unless you ask me to keep them.
- Mastered files I deliver to you — kept while your subscription is active, plus 12 months after cancellation, so you can request a re-download. You can request deletion any time, and I'll honour an extension request if you need them held longer.
- Contact form submissions — kept in my inbox until you ask me to delete them.
6. Your rights
Under FADP (Switzerland) and GDPR (EU), you can:
- Get a copy of the data I hold about you (access)
- Correct inaccurate data (rectification)
- Ask me to delete your data, subject to legal retention obligations (erasure)
- Receive your data in a machine-readable format (portability)
- Object to processing I do based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw any consent you previously gave
To exercise any of these, email andri@loudroom.ch. I'll reply as soon as I can, and within one month at the latest.
You can also lodge a complaint with the regulator: Swiss residents with the FDPIC; EU residents with the data-protection authority of your country.
7. Changes to this policy
If I change this policy in a way that materially affects how I handle your data, I'll email active subscribers before the change takes effect.
